The IDU would like to wish all Commonwealth nations a very happy Commonwealth Day 2019. As a global organization, we at the IDU are aware of how powerful worldwide collaboration can be. We congratulate the Commonwealth for its work on behalf of its 53 member-states as it marks its 70th birthday. This year’s “Connected Commonwealth” is an appropriate theme, as the Commonwealth, like the IDU, aims to connect the world through common goals. Along with Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and Secretary General Patricia Scotland, we send our best wishes to Commonwealth Day celebrations across the globe and our hope for continued success.
