Meet the new Caribbean Democratic Union Board

The Caribbean Democrat Union (CDU) held its Annual General Meeting on 19th-21st January in Miami. During the meeting, the CDU ratified a Declaration outlining the network’s core values and adopted a Framework for Cooperation, which will guide their work in the coming years.

During the meeting, the CDU also elected its new Board for 2018, which comprises of:
Chairman: Hon Allen Chastanet, United Workers Party, St Lucia (centre)
Vice-Chair (Organisational Support): Hon Patrick Faber, United Democratic Party, Belize (second from the left)
Vice-Chair (Policy & External Affairs): Dr Hon Godwin Friday, New Democratic Party, St Vincent and the Grenadines (right)
Vice-Chair (Women & Minorities): Hon Palmavon Webster, One Anguilla Alliance, Anguilla (second from the right)
Treasurer: Senator Hon Pearnel Charles Jr., Jamaica Labour Party, Jamaica (not pictured)
Secretary General: Nick Francis, New Democratic Party, St Vincent and the Grenadines (left)
