By using this site, www.idu.org (the ‘Site’), you agree to be legally bound by these terms, which shall take effect immediately on your first use the Site. Please read this Agreement carefully, as you will be bound by its terms. If you do not agree to be legally bound by all the following terms please do not access and/or use the Site.

IDU may change these terms at any time by posting changes online. Please review these terms regularly to ensure you are aware of any changes made by IDU. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted means you agree to be legally bound by these terms as updated and/or amended.

Use of the Site

You are free to copy, reproduce, republish, download, post, broadcast, transmit, make available to the public, or otherwise use the Site content in any way, provided that the Site and origin of content is explicitly and properly named as the source of the content. You also agree not to adapt, alter or create a derivative work from the Site content without (a) explicitly and properly naming the Site as the source; or, (b) contacting the Secretariat of IDU (secretariat@idu.org) and ask to be granted a written permission of IDU in advance of your use of the content of the Site.

Limitation of liability

The Site content, including the information, names, images, pictures, logos and icons regarding or relating to IDU is provided “as is” and on an “is available” basis without any representations or any kind of warranty made (whether express or implied by law) to the extent permitted by law, including the implied warranties of satisfactory quality, fitness for å particular purpose, non-infringement, compatibility, security and accuracy.

Under no circumstances will IDU be liable for any of the following losses or damage (whether such losses were foreseen, foreseeable, known or otherwise): (a) loss of data; (b) loss of revenue or anticipated profits; (c) loss of business; (d) loss of opportunity; (e) loss of goodwill or injury to reputation; (f) losses suffered by third parties; or (g) any indirect, consequential, special or exemplary damages arising from the use of the Site regardless of the form of action.

IDU does not warrant that functions contained in the Site content will be uninterrupted or error free, that defects will be corrected, or that the Site or the server that makes it available are free of viruses or bugs.

While IDU has made every effort to maintain accurate information on the Site, the information contained herein may contain errors and omissions. IDU makes no warranties or representations of any kind concerning the accuracy, reliability, suitability, or safety of the information contained on the Site for any purpose, or of the products connected therewith.

Intellectual property

All trademarks on this site are the property of IDU or are used with permission. The names, images and logos identifying IDU or third parties and their products and services are subject to copyright, design rights and trademarks of IDU or third parties. Nothing contained in these terms shall be construed as conferring by implication, estoppel or otherwise any license or right to use any trademark, patent, design right or copyright of the IDU or any other third party.

No endorsements

Links to other websites do not imply an endorsement of the materials disseminated at those web sites, nor does the existence of a link to another site imply that the organization or person publishing at that site endorses any of the materials at this Site. Links to other websites are provided by IDU as a convenience to its users. IDU is not responsible for the materials contained at any website linked to this Site.

Member account and use of site

Registered users on the site are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their password, and agree to immediately notify IDU of any unauthorized use of their password or account or any other breach of security, and ensure that they exit from their account at the end of each session. IDU cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from a users failure to comply with this provision.

Registered users agree that the IDU, in its sole discretion, may terminate their password, account (or any part thereof) or use of the Site, and remove and discard any Materials within the Site, for any reason. Further, users agree that IDU shall not be liable to them or any third party for any termination of their access to the Site.

General

If there is any conflict between these terms and specific terms appearing elsewhere on the Site then the latter shall prevail.

If any provision of these Terms of Use is deemed unlawful, void, or unenforceable for any reason, then that provision will be deemed severable from the remainder of this Agreement and will not affect the validity or enforceability of the remainder of this Agreement.
