International Democrat Union member parties, elected officers and IDU-associated parties are invited to take part in the IDU Executive in Dubrovnik, Croatia, 25 – 27 April 2007. Participants should plan for arrival no later than in the afternoon/evening of the 25th and may plan for departure in the afternoon of the 27th .

The Dubrovnik meetings will take place at Hotel Grand Villa Argentina, which is an internationally renowned five star hotel, a local landmark on the Adriatic coast, within walking distance from the heart of the ancient city of Dubrovnik. The distance from the hotel to Dubrovnik's international airport is 22 km.

Back to back with the Executive there will also be a meeting of IDU's Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs and a workshop for IDU parties with democracy foundations.

The meetings, hosted by IDU member party HDZ under the leadership of Prime Minister Ivo Sanader, will focus on regional challenges, on Croatia's aspirations for European and Atlantic integration, and on the future work of the IDU.  If member parties have other matters that they want to have included in the agenda of the Executive or SCFA, please inform the Executive Secretary before the end of March.
